What you will do

• Provide 1:1 coaching to Mento members via virtual sessions using proprietary platform tools.
• Participate in ongoing training to refine coaching methodology and share best practices.
• Communicate with members through email and the Mento app between sessions to ensure progress.
• Act as a brand ambassador, providing empathetic and respectful support to community members.
• Contribute insights to the coaching community to improve internal methodologies and practices.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering leadership roles managing teams.
• Previous experience as a Director, VP, or equivalent senior leader at a tech organization.
• Must be based in North America or Europe for this remote role.
• Ability to commit a minimum of 12+ hours per month for at least 24 months.
• Experience leading teams through hypergrowth or transition from startup to scale.
• Capacity to dedicate 3–5 hours per week to Mento coaching activities.

Nice to have

• Background in AI/ML, infrastructure, security, or developer platform organizations.
• Active coaching certifications or prior experience in formal coaching environments.
• Previous experience working in high-growth technology startups.
