What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets based on business requirements.
• Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M).
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and ensure appropriate access controls.
• Integrate Power BI with SharePoint, Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse as required.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and handoff at project milestones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI–related issues efficiently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, apps, and deployment pipelines.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work independently and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory).
• Experience in Power BI Premium / Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-300).
• Prior consulting or contract-based project experience.
