TL;DR

Lead Java Developer (Azure): Leading the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications with an accent on Java/Spring Boot microservices and Azure cloud integration. Focus on architecting secure solutions, driving AI/ML integration, and providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Location: Must be based in the Philippines

What you will do

Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications.
Architect scalable and secure cloud-native solutions using Azure services.
Integrate AI/ML capabilities and automation into business applications.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers.
Manage project timelines, delivery commitments, and resource planning.
Ensure adherence to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5–7+ years of Java development experience with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS).
Must be authorized to work in the Philippines (no visa sponsorship provided).
Proven experience leading development teams and delivering complex projects.

Nice to have

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Azure certifications (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect).
Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Knowledge of big data technologies and data engineering.
