Senior DataOps Engineer (Banking Services)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; onsite work at the Warsaw office.

What you will do

• Automate data management processes within a modern CI/CD environment.
• Design and implement scalable data models and orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Manage and optimize data flows and storage solutions for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to maintain data quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot complex data and system issues and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and operational procedures.
• Support data governance, conduct data quality assessments, improve data management practices, and provide guidance and training on DataOps principles.

Requirements

• Experience in data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and knowledge of databases, data processing concepts, and general data engineering principles.
• Experience with at least one ETL/ELT tool, preferably SAS DI Studio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant IT specialization.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAS or Teradata tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, Git, Erwin, or Power BI.
