What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for hirify.global's storage products, overseeing the architecture.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Field teams to ensure that hirify.global storage products are engineered with a focus on security, high quality, and meeting customer requirements.
• Develop and promote best practices, architectural standards, and common technologies across the portfolio.
• Engage directly with architects and development teams through ongoing, two-way collaboration.
• Partner with product management and engineering to support strong product and value stream strategies.
• Meet with customers to understand their challenges and help them successfully adopt hirify.global software.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• 17+ years of work experience in IBM z/OS and storage subsystems.
• Deep expertise in IBM z/OS and core z/OS storage technologies.
• Strong understanding of I/O subsystem design and performance.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex storage issues across storage products, z/OS components, and underlying hardware.
• Effective communication skills to translate deep technical concepts into actionable guidance for engineering teams, support teams, and customers.
