What you will do
- Operate and scale enterprise-grade container platforms using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD workflows using Helm and CNCF toolchains.
- Lead the migration of legacy monolithic and VM-based systems to microservices architectures.
- Ensure high availability, lifecycle management, and patching of distributed applications.
- Support Java application operations as a technical bridge between development and operations teams.
- Manage security, monitoring, and logging across hybrid infrastructure environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software operations within enterprise or governmental environments.
- Professional proficiency in English (Intermediate+) and German (Upper-Intermediate+).
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience migrating classical server/VM environments to container platforms.
- Deep understanding of Linux, HA PostgreSQL, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Willingness to attend onboarding and regular weekly work in the Stuttgart office.
Nice to have
- CKA and Istio certifications.
- Experience with process frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT.
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, SAN/NFS storage, and virtualization platforms like OpenStack or Proxmox.
