TL;DR

Senior Account Executive (Legaltech): Driving new business acquisition for digital marketing solutions within the legal sector with an accent on consultative sales, high-volume outbound prospecting, and full-cycle pipeline management. Focus on uncovering business pain points, articulating ROI, and mentoring team members to achieve sales excellence.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Drive new business acquisition through outbound prospecting, consultative discovery, and tailored presentations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting using Salesforce.
  • Leverage data-driven metrics and market trends to identify opportunities and improve client outcomes.
  • Handle objections and present competitive differentiation to close deals at target thresholds.
  • Model sales excellence and mentor new hire Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work on-site in Pleasanton, CA 3 days per week.
  • 2-3+ years of B2B inside sales experience with a proven track record of closing and exceeding quotas.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate ROI and uncover business pain points.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a short-to-medium sales cycle (2–4 weeks).
  • Technical proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM and sales engagement tools like Outreach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and follow-ups.

Nice to have

  • Background in digital marketing, SaaS, or SMB marketplaces.
  • Experience with sales or professional involvement in the Legal Industry.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as BANT or MEDDPIC.
