What you will do
- Architect and own ShareFile’s identity, authentication, and authorization systems.
- Design secure, scalable solutions supporting SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Lead enterprise SSO integrations with major providers like Okta and Azure AD.
- Drive security best practices including token lifecycle management and compliance (SOC 2, ISO).
- Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership for platform roadmaps.
- Ensure high availability and operational resilience in large-scale SaaS environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in identity and authentication.
- Strong backend development skills (C#, Java, Go, or Node.js) and API design proficiency.
- Extensive experience with modern authentication flows and SSO platform operations.
- Proven track record with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Must reside in or be able to work from Raleigh, NC.
- Strong understanding of authentication security principles and threat mitigation.
Nice to have
- Experience with IAM platforms like Auth0, Amazon Cognito, or Azure AD B2C.
- Familiarity with zero-trust architectures.
- Background in building web applications using React.
- Knowledge of compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
