Compensation: $179,500–$269,500 + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Design and deploy AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based workflows, to automate financial close processes and reporting.
• Architect and maintain robust data pipelines and models supporting Accounting, Finance, and Payments.
• Develop and refine revenue, donation, and cash flow forecasting models for FP&A and executive planning.
• Design fraud detection, chargeback prediction, and anomaly detection systems to protect revenue.
• Shape the long-term technical roadmap for financial data modeling and analytics infrastructure.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, translating complex financial analyses into actionable strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related quantitative roles.
• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, window functions) and Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Proven experience with data pipeline tools like dbt and modern data warehousing (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Strong hands-on background in financial modeling, anomaly detection, and time-series forecasting.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, Payments, or Accounting data environments.
• Familiarity with financial systems like NetSuite, SAP, Stripe, or Adyen.
• Deep understanding of accounting processes such as GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Experience leveraging modern AI tools and autonomous coding agents for development acceleration.
