What you will do

• Define and drive platform vision, developing platform strategy and actionable roadmaps.
• Build platform capabilities that enable velocity, owning the development of core platform systems.
• Evangelise and create alignment, ensuring stakeholders understand the platform vision.
• Champion both the customer and the internal developer, balancing customer and developer experience.
• Author requirements and manage complexity, translating market observations and stakeholder feedback into a prioritised backlog.
• Collaborate across domains, partnering with engineering, onboarding teams, and commercial teams to discover platformisation opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2-3 years building technical platforms, APIs, or developer-facing products.
• Strong technical fluency with understanding of APIs, authentication systems, data flows, backend architecture, and frontend frameworks.
• Platform thinking with the ability to identify opportunities to build once and leverage many times.
• Proven ability to lead in a matrix organisation, driving complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain technical architecture to commercial teams and business requirements to engineers.
• Execution focus with attention to detail, making decisions based on evidence, customer feedback, and measurable success criteria.

Nice to have

• Background in engineering or a technical role before moving into product management.
• Experience building platforms that serve both B2B and B2B2C use cases.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML flows, identity verification, or financial services onboarding.
• Hands-on experience with API documentation, developer portals, or SDK development.
• Understanding of internationalisation, localisation, and multi-market product challenges.
