What you will do

• Develop high-performance user experiences using modern front-end web technologies.
• Develop APIs using Kotlin and/or Python.
• Provide technical guidance to teams on technical strategy and excellence.
• Write testable code with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
• Drive architecture meetings and partner with stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Kotlin, Javascript/Typescript, or similar languages.
• 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of systems.
• Familiarity with data stores like PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with deployment toolings/environments such as Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Good understanding of Agile, Lean, DevOps, and SRE principles.

Nice to have

• Experience working with subscriptions.
• Experience integrating and deploying to managed cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Experience with microservices architecture and the backend-for-frontend pattern.
• 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, e-commerce, credit card and payment related product operations.
• Experience migrating a monolithic system to an ecosystem of microservices.
