Salary: $205,785 — $242,100 USD

• Own the end-to-end external narrative for Base.
• Drive traditional PR, media relations, podcasts, and high-impact speaking opportunities across top crypto and mainstream tech/finance press.
• Operate natively on Crypto Twitter, understanding the memes, culture, and key players.
• Serve as a high-conviction sounding board for leadership.
• Translate onchain innovation into compelling narratives for mainstream tech, finance, and cultural audiences.
• Redefine the comms workflow by leveraging AI tools for sentiment monitoring, rapid drafting, and distribution.

Requirements

• You follow Crypto Twitter and understand the nuances of the onchain world.
• You have several years of experience in PR/Communications, with a proven track record of placing stories in top-tier publications and managing high-stakes crises.
• You earn trust fast through directness and competence.
• You are scrappy and self-directed.
• You don't see AI as a novelty; it is your competitive advantage.
• You can take complex technical concepts and make them resonate with Tier-1 journalists and mainstream audiences.
