TL;DR

Business Solution Architect (Energy): Leading the architecture of flexibility platforms for the Energy Retail segment with an accent on cloud-native design, integration patterns, and scalability. Focus on translating business requirements into technical designs while driving digital transformation initiatives across European operations.

Location: Hybrid (must be able to travel ~2x/month to E.ON locations in Germany)

What you will do

  • Lead architecture discussions to deliver seamless business solutions for the energy retail segment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices in partnership with enterprise architecture.
  • Support project teams through the full design, development, and implementation lifecycle.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate security, compliance, and business goals.
  • Foster collaboration between IT and business units to drive digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a background in software development.
  • Strong understanding of Energy Retail business processes.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React Native, and Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including serverless, security, and DevOps.
  • Experience with integration patterns, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Fluent English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 2x per month to German office locations.
