What you will do

• Architect and maintain scalable server-side systems for high-traffic sports and gaming products.
• Build and optimize high-performance APIs on Linux environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver feature-rich fantasy sports experiences.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure to ensure system stability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform availability.
• Apply AI-driven tools to improve code development and solve complex engineering problems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional development experience in Java and Python.
• Extensive experience with server-side API programming on Linux.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and API Gateway.
• Prior experience or passion for fantasy sports.
• Deep knowledge of distributed data services and Agile methodologies.
