What you will do
- Architect and maintain scalable server-side systems for high-traffic sports and gaming products.
- Build and optimize high-performance APIs on Linux environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver feature-rich fantasy sports experiences.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure to ensure system stability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform availability.
- Apply AI-driven tools to improve code development and solve complex engineering problems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional development experience in Java and Python.
- Extensive experience with server-side API programming on Linux.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and API Gateway.
- Prior experience or passion for fantasy sports.
- Deep knowledge of distributed data services and Agile methodologies.
