What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across hirify.global’s global infrastructure.
• Lead architectural design, create proposals, and validate technical approaches through prototyping.
• Mentor engineers to produce extensible code and provide technical leadership through rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners to define and deliver business-critical, cross-functional projects.
• Maintain and improve live services, participating in an on-call rotation to ensure high availability.
• Cultivate a strong sense of engineering ownership and belonging within the team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check and ongoing security screenings.
• Proven professional experience in software engineering and delivering production-grade code (C, C#, Java, Go, Rust, or Python).
• Deep understanding of large-scale system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Expertise in cloud environments and production system observability.
• Ability to thrive in a distributed, remote-first, and asynchronous communication environment.
