TL;DR

Mobile Engineer (Android): Developing and scaling the mobile investment platform features with an accent on clean architecture, Jetpack Compose UI, and GraphQL integration. Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office in London or Budapest.

Salary: £52,000–£75,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain features for the Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, design, product, and QA to ship impactful investment features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness through robust testing and code reviews.
  • Help maintain code organization, technical architecture, and documentation while reducing technical debt.
  • Participate in a customer support rota to address issues and ensure user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
  • Strong proficiency with Kotlin and Android architectural patterns (MVVM or MVI).
  • Experience with industry-standard Android tools including Hilt, Jetpack Compose, and reactive libraries like coroutines.
  • Familiarity with consuming APIs and working with backend services in a mobile context.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a highly collaborative team.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as CircleCI.
