What you will do

• Create atmospheric lighting throughout all stages of world development in collaboration with Environment Art and Level Design teams.
• Validate shot choices and provide qualitative guidance on lighting for the Cinematics team.
• Partner with Art and Technical Art directors to uphold visual style while adhering to technical performance budgets.
• Collaborate with core technical teams to resolve complex lighting challenges.
• Compose, light, and render key art and marketing assets when required.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK or willing to relocate to Nottingham.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the PC or console games industry.
• Strong eye for composition, color theory, and atmospheric visual quality.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine or equivalent industry-standard game engines.
• Strong knowledge of 3D art tools and technical constraints of real-time rendering.
• Ability to create skies that meet both artistic and performance requirements.
