What you will do

• Own the architecture for data pipelines and release traceability, collaborating with the Tech Lead Manager to shape technical roadmaps.
• Design high-volume data pipelines that ingest results from diverse sources, including HIL, SIL, VIL, and MIL testing environments.
• Develop systems for handling both Direct Storage for hardware logs and Federated Strategies for massive cloud simulation datasets.
• Build backend pipeline components using Python to support release readiness and compliance tracking.
• Integrate data architectures with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite and GitHub Actions.
• Mentor and upskill a team of automation and test engineers on modern data pipeline practices and cloud service interaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal developer platforms at scale.
• Experience designing unified data models or manifest contracts that ensure traceability across diverse execution environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and a track record of producing high-quality, production-grade code.
• Deep understanding of modern cloud concepts including storage, compute orchestration, IAM, and networking.
• Strong familiarity with Linux system tooling, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to clearly explain complex architectural trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the autonomous vehicle, robotics, or hardware-tech industries.
• Familiarity with automotive compliance standards like ISO 26262.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Flyte, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Advanced experience with relational data modeling, specifically PostgreSQL.
