What you will do
- Solve complex business problems by building and maintaining robust, scalable software across the full stack.
- Integrate AI directly into business workflows, utilizing LLM agents, vector stores, and RAG to generate tangible value.
- Mentor and guide the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Define best practices for software delivery, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code across all project stages.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and data analysts to maximize business impact.
- Identify and debug complex system issues while implementing architectural improvements for better performance.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience ranging from building MVPs to managing large-scale production systems.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and deep knowledge of the Node ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of the React paradigm, including modern patterns and hooks.
- Proven experience developing AI-enabled applications using frameworks like N8N or Mastra.
- Familiarity with cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Must be based in or able to commute to London for hybrid office requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with Bun, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions and Argo workflows.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns like domain-driven design and message passing.
- Expertise in web security principles including CORS, XSS, and authentication techniques.
