What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer contracts and partnerships.
• Coordinate global legal coverage across multiple jurisdictions and manage external counsel.
• Improve legal operations by implementing technology and AI-driven tools.
• Provide practical legal advice to product, commercial, and finance teams on new initiatives and market expansion.
• Contribute to building scalable legal infrastructure and best practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ PQE as a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong, Singapore, or another common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in-house at a fintech, payments, or digital assets company, or in private practice advising in these sectors.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced or early-stage team environments.
• Strong background in commercial, product, and regulatory legal work.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and provide practical business-oriented legal advice.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital assets, payments, or card issuing regulatory frameworks.
• Exposure to cross-border regulatory environments such as APAC or emerging markets.
• Previous involvement in fundraising or M&A activities.
