What you will do

• Design and develop core Java applications as part of the Deposits Agile Squad/Fleet.
• Mentor team members and produce high-quality code while adhering to development best practices.
• Ensure developed code aligns with system architecture and integration design standards.
• Analyze user requirements and envision system features and functionality.
• Interface with a global team of developers and business users.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions and Agile Sprint planning sessions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on professional experience using Core Java, Java Restful APIs, Gradle, Spring, Spring Boot, IBM Websphere MQ Series and related frameworks.
• 2+ years’ experience of working with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.
• Excellent understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development.
• Proficient with database technologies (preferably DB2), including modeling and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experienced with JUnit, Test Driven Development (TDD) using Concordion framework, and Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber and Gherkin.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Kafka and in-memory databases.
• Knowledge of Financial markets, lending-based products & Wealth Management.
• Prior work experience with cloud-based applications.
