What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, develop, test, and document complex software solutions.
• Apply deep knowledge of computer hardware and software to mission-critical business applications.
• Determine and develop independent technical approaches to complex engineering problems.
• Ensure all development activities strictly adhere to established software standards.
• Maintain software configuration and manage technical documentation across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate system software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with C++ in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Git.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with Java and embedded software development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale combat systems development.
• Knowledge of government contract support requirements.
• Experience with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to perform hardware troubleshooting in a physical lab environment.
