What you will do

• Establish centralized command and provide leadership during impactful incidents.
• Coordinate efforts across internal teams and external vendors, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient collaboration.
• Understand the impact of incidents on users and set clear definitions of problems.
• Prioritize the most impactful incidents during situations of multiple incidents.
• Maintain a holistic view of incidents, monitoring progress and resolving bottlenecks.
• Drive resolution by maintaining relentless focus on mitigation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Incident Response, Security Operations, or a critical IT Operations role, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to leading high-severity incidents.
• Demonstrated experience commanding large-scale, cross-functional incidents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical issues clearly to executive audiences.
• Proven ability to make critical judgments and act decisively under pressure.
• Deep understanding of the Incident Response lifecycle and sufficient technical knowledge of IT systems and processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities to coordinate complex operations.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL v4, SANS GCIH, CISSP).
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., Finance, Healthcare).
