Integration Developer

TL;DR

Integration Developer: Designing, developing, and deploying integration processes between core business applications using the Dell Boomi platform with an accent on defining integration requirements and ensuring development tasks are done within scope. Focus on staying abreast of industry trends, increasing innovation, productivity, and business value, and sharing integration best practices with the team.

Location: Must be within commutable distance to Ottawa, ON and able to work at our on-site office at least twice per week.

Salary: CAD $84,000 to CAD $100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Collaborate with different teams to define and determine integration requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy integration processes between core business applications using the Dell Boomi platform.
• Develop unit tests and collaborate with QA staff to develop end-to-end test scenarios.
• Provide development and technical expertise to ensure development tasks are done within scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively bring in ideas to increase innovation, productivity, and business value.
• Share integration best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge with the rest of the team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in application integration development. Good understanding of application integration patterns and best practices.
• Knowledge and experience using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology. Solid experience in similar platforms.
• Experience with a variety of data formats, e.g.: Protobuf, JSON, XML. Solid database and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with project management/QA tools such as Jira, XRay, etc.
• Solid understanding of Scrum methodology and Agile framework.
• Experience mapping and documenting end-to-end business data flows and processes.

Nice to have

• Any of the following: Jenkins CI/CD, SalesForce Development, leveraging Artificial Intelligence to increase developer velocity, .Net Framework, Python, Groovy.
