Hiring: Fraud Data Scientist (2-Year Contract) – Middle East

I’m currently working with a leading banking client in the Middle East who are building out a Digital Fraud Operations Centre (DFOC) and are looking for a Fraud Data Scientist to join on a 2-year contract.

This is a key hire to support the development of data-driven fraud detection capabilities across digital banking channels.

What we’re looking for:
Experience in fraud analytics / fraud data science within banking or fintech
Strong background in machine learning, predictive modelling and anomaly detection
Hands-on experience with Python, SQL and large transaction datasets
Exposure to fraud detection models, rule optimisation or behavioural analytics
Experience working with payments / digital banking fraud is highly desirable

What you’ll be doing:
Building and enhancing fraud detection models
Analysing transaction data to identify emerging fraud patterns
Supporting rule development and optimisation
Working closely with fraud operations and risk teams to improve detection performance

Location: Middle East (on-site)
Contract: 2 years
