What you will do

• Design and maintain reusable services for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Develop and operationalize ML models for tasks like pattern recognition and decision support within secure environments.
• Integrate data science services into production using Docker and CI/CD best practices.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to derive actionable insights for mission stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure reproducible and audit-ready analytical workflows.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
• On-site work availability at Peterson Space Force Base, CO.
• 4+ years of professional experience in applied data science or machine learning engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed frameworks like Spark or PySpark.
• Experience with ML development lifecycles, including training and deployment in cloud-native environments.
• Strong technical communication skills for bridging gaps between technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Maven Smart System ecosystem.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow or SageMaker.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Palantir Foundry.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
