What you will do

• Conduct a literature review of existing machine learning methods for state estimation and sensor fusion.
• Develop and implement algorithms using simulated and real-world flight data.
• Assess performance and computational overhead of developed algorithms compared to classical baselines.
• Document methodologies, experimental results, and technical conclusions.
• Participate in flight test sessions to gather data and validate algorithms in operational conditions.

Requirements

• Strong academic record in applied Mathematics with a focus on machine learning.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Capacity for autonomy, initiative, and curiosity to learn.
• Experience or strong interest in sensor fusion, state estimation, control theory, or drone technology is a plus.
