What you will do

• Define the technical roadmap, system architecture, and engineering standards for the new OpenGRC product.
• Architect a scalable, event-driven backend and a responsive Single Page Application using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Develop complex mathematical models and correlation engines to link threat intelligence with internal risk scenarios.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Act as the technical face of the project within the open-source community.
• Partner with Product Management to translate business vision into high-level technical architecture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in technical leadership.
• Must be located in France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, or Switzerland.
• Fluency in both English and French is required.
• Mastery of system design, distributed systems, and data modeling.
• Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proven experience in owning architecture and technical health for complex products.

Nice to have

• Experience in GRC or Cybersecurity sectors.
• Familiarity with STIX/TAXII standards or MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Interest in quantitative risk methodologies (e.g., FAIR model).
• Experience leading or maintaining open-source projects.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and tooling.
