What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-8 fullstack developers through regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Perform hands-on coding and code reviews with an approximate 70/30 split between technical contributions and management.
• Manage the technical backlog and ensure delivery of high-quality features while addressing technical debt.
• Prepare and align technical designs for new features with neighboring teams and management.
• Maintain team adherence to company engineering guidelines and processes.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new team members into the development process.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total software development experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing 5-10 developers.
• 5+ years of experience as a fullstack developer in product-focused companies.
• Proven technical expertise with the stack: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.
• Strong people management skills including hiring, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• English level: B2+ for confident technical communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
