What you will do

• Plan, configure, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
• Monitor and respond to network security incidents to ensure timely containment.
• Automate manual security processes and tasks.
• Support zero trust security models including identity management and network segmentation.
• Deploy security controls for perimeter protection such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate security best practices into infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python or Bash.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of security protocols like SSL/TLS, IPsec, and DNSSEC.
• Expertise in managing network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or CCNP Security.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks like NIST, ISO, or PCI-DSS.
