Senior Security Engineer - Cloud & Platform Security (Devsecops)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain hardened AWS architectures and secure container/Kubernetes base images.
• Automate security via IaC, maintaining infrastructure controls and preventing misconfigurations.
• Configure and manage runtime security for Kubernetes and own safe-change processes for edge defenses.
• Integrate posture signals into centralized dashboards and SIEM/SOAR, ensuring signals are actionable.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and mentor teams on prevention-first design.
• Define platform incident playbooks and act as a subject-matter expert for cloud/platform incidents.

Requirements

• 4-8+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security, Platform Security, or DevSecOps.
• Advanced AWS security architecture and expert-level knowledge of building and securing production environments.
• Deep, practical experience with production EKS baseline hardening.
• Fluent in IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible) and have strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Go, etc.).
• Hands-on experience configuring and tuning modern WAFs, CDNs, and edge security platforms.
• Ability to translate risks into actionable engineering work and influence teams to adopt security-first practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern posture management tools (CSPM/KSPM/DSPM).
• Experience with common, large-scale edge security stacks.
• Multi-cloud experience (GCP, Azure) in addition to AWS.
• Certifications like CKA/CKS, AWS Security Specialty, or OSCP.
