Salary: €4,975–€6,725 gross per month

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and maintain core payment services.
• Write high-quality, testable code and perform fast-paced code reviews.
• Ensure 99.99% availability by taking ownership of critical alerts and business metrics.
• Leverage AI tools and modern tech stacks to enhance development efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system performance and stability.
• Apply Agile and Lean principles to select the best methodologies for team goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend engineering and strategic decision-making.
• Strong background in building and maintaining scalable, resilient systems.
• Proficiency in Ruby or the ability to master it quickly.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, databases, and monitoring tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor other engineers.
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and focus on long-term stability.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, or Temporal.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for observability.
• Deep understanding of ledger functions and payment processing logic.
