What you will do

• Collaborate on features for Central Tech, League of Legends, Team Fight Tactics, or VALORANT.
• Develop and support backend services to power shared social and game platform features.
• Create tools and automation pipelines to empower game developers, artists, and designers.
• Work on engine and gameplay-specific systems to improve performance.
• Maintain SDKs and APIs used internally to power player experiences.
• Operate services at a global scale to support millions of concurrent players.

Requirements

• Must have the legal right to work in Australia full-time.
• Must be available for the full 16-week internship duration.
• Must be able to work 4 days a week from the Sydney office.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in or practical experience with C++.
• Strong collaborative spirit and a personal connection to games.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with software development best practices (unit, integration, and functional testing).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using game engines like Unity or Unreal.
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
