TL;DR
NetOps Engineer (Mobile Core/IP): Operating and maintaining mobile packet core infrastructures and IP networks with an accent on high availability, signaling protocols, and cross-functional support. Focus on troubleshooting complex network environments, managing customer project deployments, and ensuring optimal performance across 2G-5G systems.
Location: Hybrid model (3 days onsite in Sant Joan Despí/Barcelona, 2 days remote)

What you will do
- Operate and maintain IP networking and mobile packet core environments.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and complex technical escalations.
- Support customer projects including network deployments and integration tasks.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and traffic analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with international NOC and cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IP Networking.
- C1+ English level is mandatory for international collaboration.
- Solid expertise in IP networking, routing, BGP, and Layer 2/3 protocols.
- Deep knowledge of mobile technologies (2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G) and signaling protocols (Diameter, GTP, SIP).
- Experience with Linux administration (CentOS), SQL databases, and virtualization tools.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from the Barcelona area.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of DRA/STP, HSS/HLR, and PCRF platforms.
- Experience with Docker and network monitoring analytics.
