Virtualization Engineer

What you will do

• Create, design, implement, and maintain server and system architecture, focusing on VMware, MS HyperV, Azure, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and ensure all VM / network systems are working correctly.
• Maintain High Availability options for VMs / Networks.
• Build and maintain SOPs, best practice and hardening documentation, and other internal reference documentation.
• Develop, maintain, and own system patching schedules on a predictable cadence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align VM, Server, and Storage architecture with business needs and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required).
• 5+ years of data center, server, and/or storage engineering experience.
• Expertise in traditional server virtualization, AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• In-depth understanding of infrastructure and server security in a healthcare context.
• Relevant certifications: VMware VCP-DCV, Microsoft WSHAA.
• Some travel may be required as needed to our sites across the United States
