What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team managing IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IT strategies and solutions aligned with business goals
• Develop and enforce IT policies and standards ensuring security, availability, and performance
• Oversee planning, design, implementation, and optimization of IT infrastructure projects
• Manage IT operational performance including incident, problem, and change management
• Drive continuous improvement for operational efficiency and service delivery
• Manage vendor relationships and outsourced IT services
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
• Support sales and business development with technical expertise

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States, preferably Chicago, Illinois
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in technology and 5+ years in leadership
• Security certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, MCSA, or AWS/Azure required
• Advanced knowledge of information security, infrastructure, networking, virtualization, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS
• Experience managing remote and cross-functional IT teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
