Finance Systems Integration Engineer (AI): Designing and building integrations connecting ERP systems with critical financial applications, supporting ERP implementation initiatives with an accent on integration architecture and AI automation. Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. Currently, all staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $205,000 - $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain integrations connecting ERP systems with downstream applications using Workato, MuleSoft, or similar iPaaS solutions.
• Support integration development and testing during ERP implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth 2.0 authentication flows for secure system-to-system communication.
• Build and deploy Claude-powered AI agents that automate financial operations, including intelligent document processing and self-service reporting.
• Support data pipeline development using Airflow for workflow orchestration and dbt for data transformation.
• Collaborate with Finance Systems Engineers on operational support, troubleshooting, and enhancement requests.

Requirements

• Have 8+ years of experience in integration development, data engineering, or systems engineering roles.
• Possess hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration tools.
• Have strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for building custom integrations and automation scripts.
• Demonstrate experience with data pipeline tools including Airflow for orchestration and dbt for transformation.
• Understand REST API design patterns, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, and modern integration architectures.
• Education requirements: At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-growth technology companies scaling through rapid revenue expansion.
• Hands-on experience with specific platforms: Workday Financials.
• Technical expertise with modern finance tech stack including Stripe, Salesforce, Zuora RevPro, Zip Procurement, Clearwater treasury systems, Pigment planning tools, Numeric close management.
• Experience with AI/LLM integration for financial operations, including document processing, data extraction, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools: BigQuery/Snowflake/Databricks, dbt for data transformation, Airflow for workflow orchestration.
