TL;DR

Customer Service Advisor: Providing friendly and professional support to customers via phone, email, and live chat, resolving issues efficiently. Focus on understanding customer concerns and delivering practical solutions while maintaining accuracy and quality in a fast-paced team environment.

Location: 2 days a week in the office in Cardiff, 1 from home. Initial training period will be 3 days a week in the office.

What you will do

  • Provide friendly, professional support to customers via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Resolve issues efficiently, taking full ownership of each case.
  • Listen carefully to understand concerns and deliver fair, practical solutions.
  • Keep up to date with products and policies to ensure accurate guidance.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Recognise customers who may need additional support and ensure they receive the help they need.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service experience, ideally within a call centre or financial services environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound judgement and confidence when managing complex or sensitive customer enquiries.
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Proactive attitude, with a strong focus on resolving issues at the first point of contact.
  • Empathetic and curious nature, with a genuine passion for helping people.

Hiring process

  • Stage 1: 20-minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call).
  • Stage 2: 45-minute virtual interview with members of the Customer Service Management team.
