TL;DR

Compliance Auditor (Cybersecurity): Conducting risk assessments, audit execution, and continuous monitoring of IT and regulatory controls with an accent on compliance with SOC 2, ISO standards, GDPR, and PCI. Focus on performing internal and third-party audits, communicating results, and supporting remediation efforts within a software/SaaS environment.

Location: Remote in Minneapolis, MN or Eau Claire, WI with periodic onsite presence required

Salary: $59,800 - $127,400 USD

What you will do

• Assist in third-party and regulatory audits ensuring efficient documentation flow and audit completion
• Conduct internal audits to validate effectiveness of IT, security, cloud, delivery, and HR controls
• Communicate audit results and support management in risk mitigation decisions
• Recommend remediation actions for control weaknesses and follow up on corrective measures
• Assess controls for new systems and perform gap assessments for new security frameworks or products
• Support continuous monitoring and compliance efforts using AI-assisted tools and GRC software

Requirements

• Must be based in Minneapolis, MN or Eau Claire, WI
• Minimum 1 year of audit, compliance, or related experience
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, PCI, GDPR, and other security compliance standards
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with AI-assisted compliance tools and GRC software
• Ability to create clear reports and dashboards with strong data analysis and SQL skills

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Certifications such as CIA or CISA
