What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and coach software engineers, supporting their professional development from junior to senior levels.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary agile team in the design, development, and maintenance of resilient web tooling at scale.
• Foster a diverse and positive working culture in collaboration with department leadership.
• Drive continuous delivery by measuring and improving team agile processes and technical practices.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and other Team Leads across the broader hirify.global technical community.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams and managing large-scale tech stacks.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and SPA frameworks such as React.
• Demonstrable experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong background in agile methodologies and continuous delivery.
• Experience mentoring junior-to-senior engineers and managing career development.

Nice to have

• Experience evolving software engineering communities of practice.
• Background in enabling multi-disciplinary teams as internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 accessibility standards to at least AA level.
