Software Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Manage and coach software engineering teams, driving timely delivery of high-quality code.
• Oversee technical decisions, technology choices, and architecture for high-performance products.
• Monitor and ensure timely releases by driving compliance with quality metrics.
• Drive the implementation of the defined technical roadmap and engineering excellence initiatives.
• Implement new architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain an engineering culture that fosters innovation and reliability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in fullstack development (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java, ASP.net, SQL).
• Proficient in the full software development lifecycle and secure by design.
• Experience in leading a team to ISO9001 standards.
• Must hold or be eligible to achieve SC security clearance with no caveats prior to commencement of the role.
• Required to come onsite 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Proficient using REST APIs and modern tech stack for system integration.
• Deep understanding of database structures.
• Working with a UX team or autonomous UX decision-making.
• Good understanding of monolithic vs microservice architecture.
• Mentoring junior developers and running scrum ceremonies.
