What you will do
- Manage and coach software engineering teams, driving timely delivery of high-quality code.
- Oversee technical decisions, technology choices, and architecture for high-performance products.
- Monitor and ensure timely releases by driving compliance with quality metrics.
- Drive the implementation of the defined technical roadmap and engineering excellence initiatives.
- Implement new architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain an engineering culture that fosters innovation and reliability.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in fullstack development (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java, ASP.net, SQL).
- Proficient in the full software development lifecycle and secure by design.
- Experience in leading a team to ISO9001 standards.
- Must hold or be eligible to achieve SC security clearance with no caveats prior to commencement of the role.
- Required to come onsite 5 days per week.
Nice to have
- Proficient using REST APIs and modern tech stack for system integration.
- Deep understanding of database structures.
- Working with a UX team or autonomous UX decision-making.
- Good understanding of monolithic vs microservice architecture.
- Mentoring junior developers and running scrum ceremonies.
