What you will do

• Execute test passes on localized builds to verify accuracy.
• Identify and log localization bugs with detailed steps.
• Ensure consistency in spelling, grammar, and cultural appropriateness.
• Support glossary and style guide validation.
• Review localization tickets and player reports, helping reproduce and escalate issues.
• Stay current on key project terminology for Italian.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Italian.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• 0–2 years of experience in LQA, functional QA, or translation.
• Familiarity with QA and localization workflows.
• Knowledge of JIRA, bug tracking platforms, or text management systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to localization or CAT tools.
• Experience with game consoles, mobile platforms, or game development terminology.
• Familiarity with first-party certification standards.
• Experience editing dubbing scripts or reviewing voiceover in Italian.
• Passion for video games and cross-cultural storytelling.
