QC Tester (GameDev)

What you will do

• Assist in testing mobile game products and updates to achieve a near defect-free status.
• Complete assigned QC tasks, including test plan execution, live ops checks, and ad hoc testing.
• Work with game and tools teams to identify test areas and construct relevant test cases.
• Record all issues efficiently, completely, and informatively.
• Provide professional QC reports for leads and senior management.
• Respond to development team requests for information, balancing, or build installation.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance/Control position.
• Understanding of bug/defect management systems (like JIRA) and exceptional bug reporting skills.
• Experience working on main mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Amazon).
• Ability to create new testing scenarios based on documentation or existing builds.
• Basic understanding of server-client architecture.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software.
• Strong knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying is a must.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation.
• Bachelor's degree in a Video Games related field.
• Good knowledge of Spanish or Catalan.
