What you will do

• Lead a talented and distributed group of full-stack engineers building project planning and tracking tools.
• Contribute to and improve hirify.global.com codebase using JavaScript (React, TypeScript) and Ruby (Rails).
• Write architecture briefs, build prototypes, and guide technical roadmaps for scalable systems.
• Foster technical growth by researching and adopting modern AI software development tools.
• Collaborate closely with product and design leads to prioritize and deliver customer-focused projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to grow the team.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States or able to work remotely within the US
• 9+ years experience in software engineering or related technical discipline with production coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• 3+ years people management experience, preferably leading distributed teams.
• Strong customer focus and data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills for a distributed team environment.
