Full Stack Engineer (Elixir) - Vice President

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; office attendance four days per week with remote work available on Fridays.

What you will do

• Build and support identity-platform features using an Elixir/Phoenix backend and TypeScript/React frontend.
• Design and develop integrations with other hirify.global platforms.
• Support existing products while defining and delivering new features.
• Work with Product Management, Design, stakeholders, and partners to scope requirements, review work, gather feedback, and resolve testing issues.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in a related field.
• Extensive experience developing full-stack web applications and strong knowledge of browser technologies, HTTP, cookies, CSP, and CORS.
• Strong relational database fundamentals and professional programming experience in at least one language.
• Experience influencing technical strategy and defining project vision in collaborative engineering environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Linux and strong command-line skills.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Elixir, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Ruby.
• PostgreSQL query optimization and experience with large relational datasets or Google BigQuery.
• Experience with React, Vue, Angular, or LiveView.
• Experience deploying and configuring applications on AWS.
• Security or penetration-testing experience, or technical leadership and management experience.
