What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Elixir and Phoenix, integrated with TypeScript/React frontends.
• Design and implement new features and integrations across the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product and design teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Address issues identified during automated and manual testing to ensure system reliability.
• Influence technical strategy and contribute to project vision within a collaborative team.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, CORS, CSP, cookies).
• Demonstrated success writing production-ready code in modern programming languages.
• Proficiency with relational database fundamentals and relational dataset querying.
• Strong Linux and command-line skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Node.js, or Ruby.
• Expertise in React, Vue, or LiveView.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform.
• Background in security or penetration testing.
• Technical leadership or management experience.
