Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Working end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on hirify.global's software platforms with an accent on web application development in React as front end and Ruby on Rails as a backend. Focus on system design, architecture, and trade-offs.

Location: New York, New York, United States. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.

Salary: $110,000 to $135,000

What you will do

• Develop web applications using React for the front end and Ruby on Rails for the backend.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design.
• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and peer code reviews.
• Work closely with the Product Management team to detail requirements and address issues found in manual test efforts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 2+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern JS frameworks such as React.
• 2+ years of front end and back-end test automation development using RSpec, Cucumber or similar.
• Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies – K8S, AWS etc.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership/management experience is a plus.
