Software Engineer, CX: Design, build, test, and operate distributed services and high‑throughput APIs that support mission‑critical CX workloads with an accent on coding, automation, and observability to deliver durable and scalable software. Focus on mentoring engineers, engineering rigor, and evolving architecture toward cloud‑native patterns.
Location: Medellín Colombia (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Enhance and improve software as a member of an agile team.
- Design and present projects to improve current processes and the overall platform.
- Code and test projects, creating automation to ensure quality.
- Deliver high-quality, sustainable, maintainable code.
- Manage time effectively working on one or more concurrent projects.
- Provide technical capabilities to the team and evangelize those skills to others.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solid grasp of OO design and common design patterns.
- Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience building REST APIs and working in a CI/CD environment.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication.
