What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data ingestion architectures in Snowflake.
- Own the development of end-to-end ELT pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
- Design and enforce data quality frameworks, including validation rules and monitoring.
- Apply Medallion Architecture best practices across all data pipelines.
- Build and optimize data architectures on AWS using services like S3, Glue, and Lambda.
- Act as a technical leader, guiding governance initiatives and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a lead mindset.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake is mandatory.
- Solid experience with SQL and large-scale data processing.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Medallion Architecture.
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and bottlenecks.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS services (Glue, Athena, EMR, Lambda).
- Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex, dbt, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Iceberg tables and Snowflake data sharing.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
