What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using OpenAPI standards.
• Develop and optimize microservices within the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth2.
• Manage relational database schemas and optimize complex queries in PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with data engineers on GCP and BigQuery pipeline integrations.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices and observability strategies to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java (versions 7, 8, 11, 17, and 21) including Virtual Threads and modern language features.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP cloud technologies.
• Solid proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating backend systems with SAP platforms.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies like BigQuery and Apache Beam.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development practices.
