Trading Operations Engineer: Supporting and improving automated trading operations systems in a high-volume, live trading environment with an accent on monitoring trading activity, portfolio risk, and troubleshooting complex real-time systems. Location: Hybrid, London, United Kingdom

Salary: £100,000 – £200,000 + bonus

What you will do

Monitor live trading activity and portfolio risk
Support and improve automated trading operations systems
Collaborate with internal teams on technical projects and upgrades
Scale and enhance trading infrastructure
Investigate and resolve trading, position, or reconciliation discrepancies
Optimize order entry and market data connectivity; troubleshoot issues in real-time systems

Requirements

Relevant experience in trading, operations, or related technical field
Strong Python scripting skills
Solid understanding of Linux environments
Experience with P&L and risk reporting tools
Knowledge of market structure and trading technology
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
